VinFast claimed 1,098 of the new batch’s automobiles would land in California and the rest in Canada after a 20-day sea voyage.
The announcement claimed U.S. and Canadian deliveries would begin in May and June.
VinFast’s 24-month VF 8 City Edition lease is $399.
VinFast, launched in 2019, wants to develop a North Carolina production factory in 2025.
The business said on Monday that it would export 700 VF 8 vehicles to Europe in mid-July and begin global bookings for two new models.
The company produced 250,000 VF 8s yearly and sold 865 in the first quarter. VinFast received 55,000 orders worldwide in December, 12,000 of which were from the U.S.
