VinFast, a Vietnamese manufacturer of electric vehicles (EVs), is recalling 2,781 VF8 sports cars for inspection. And also replacement of the bolt connecting the front brake caliper to the steering knuckle, the firm said on Saturday.

The first 999 VF8s were delivered in November 2017, and the remainder are scheduled for delivery this month.
VinFast stated in a statement, “Due to a particular mounting component, the bolt connecting the front brake caliper to the steering knuckle may loosen while the vehicle is in motion, thereby reducing front braking effectiveness.”
She said that it would have no effect on the delivery timeline, which begins at the end of February 2023.
By the end of December, the business had delivered more than 4,000 electric cars to clients throughout the country.
