Vanity Fair and Chanel Host Cannes 2014 Party in Style

Canes 2014 film festival is now behind us, but not until Vanity Fair and Chanel united forces to host an exquisite dinner party at Tetou Restaurant. This party was amongst the prime events which occur during the Cannes Film Festival.

Tons of A-list celebrities were in attendance such as: Adrien Brody, Julie Gayet, Lily Allen, James Franco, Jessica Chastain, among others. This impressive guest list joined Karl Lagerfeld for the second, annual event. This dinner was hosted by French Vanity Fair alongside Chanel.

Franco was looking surprisingly chic in a navy-grey suit. Lily Allen sported a blue, mini-tweed dress with gems from Chanel Spring 2012 Couture. She paired the dress with silver heels.

Milla Jovovich wore a long, loose printed dress with glittering shoulder cut outs. Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue shimmered in her gold and black, floral ensemble. She finished off the outfit with a black Chanel bag.

At the event, Brody commented on his newly launched production company called Fable House. He also discussed his upcoming, lead role in “Emperor”, which is scheduled to begin filming as early as this Aug. He jokingly explained the film production, “It will be me and my 2,000-man entourage gallivanting around Europe, and we will consolidate about 35 years of history into about two, but other than that, it will be about historical fact.”

Chastain wore a white tweed, pocketed dress from Chanel Resort 2014. She discussed how she has become a frequent attendee of the festival. She reminisced on her first time at Cannes Film Festival with the showing of “The Tree of Life”. Chastain stated that, “…it was the beginning, it was my debut in a way to the world as a film actress, so definitely it feels like coming home,” she added. Jessica Chastain was at Cannes this year for her film “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigbyas”.
