The International Criminal Court (ICC) announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will meet with them in The Hague on Thursday.
In March, the ICC issued an arrest order for Russian President Vladimir Putin for deporting Ukrainian children, a war crime.
ANP reported that Zelenskiy met with legislators at the Dutch Senate at about 0700 GMT.
The government announced that it would meet with Prime Minister Mark Rutte and parliamentarians.
“No Peace Without Justice for Ukraine” was Zelenskiy’s message, according to the foreign ministry.
Government spokespersons wouldn’t discuss Zelenskiy’s visit due to security concerns. Since Russia’s 2022 invasion, Ukraine’s leader has visited London, Paris, and Washington.
In February, Rutte said he would back Ukraine militarily if it did not involve NATO in a battle with Russia.
Russia rejects the ICC’s jurisdiction and denies committing crimes during its “special operation” in Ukraine.
