On Wednesday, a top Ukrainian presidential official stated Kyiv had nothing to do with any drone strike on the Kremlin and that such operations did nothing for Kyiv on the battlefield and would only push Russia to take more aggressive measures.
Presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak told Reuters that Russia’s detention of accused Ukrainian saboteurs and Kyiv’s accusation of the attack might presage a large-scale “terrorist” operation against Ukraine in the coming days.
Ukraine is unrelated to Kremlin drone attacks. “We don’t attack the Kremlin because it doesn’t solve any military tasks,” Podolyak stated.
On Wednesday, Russia accused Ukraine of using drones to murder President Vladimir Putin.
Podolyak added, “In my opinion, it is absolutely obvious that both’reports about an attack on the Kremlin’ and simultaneously the supposed detention of Ukrainian saboteurs in Crimea… clearly indicates the preparation of a large-scale terrorist provocation by Russia in the coming days.”
