Musk announced days before that confirmed and unverified users would be limited to seeing a certain number of posts each day “to address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation.”
Twitter users slammed his statement, and ad experts warned it would undercut new CEO Linda Yaccarino, who joined last month.
Organizations pay $1,000 and individuals $8 monthly to authenticate their accounts.
