Trump tweeted on Thursday that he was in Manhattan for a deposition with New York attorney general Letitia James.
In September, James sued Trump and his three adult children for fraud for misstating real estate property assessments to get loans and tax benefits in Manhattan state court. Trump filed suit against James.
In March, Trump asked for a six-month delay to review the “staggering” information, including millions of pages of data, and interview dozens of witnesses.
In another Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump stated, “I will finally be able to show what a great, profitable, and valuable company I built, actually, some of the greatest real estate assets anywhere in the world.”
This month, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg accused 2024 presidential contender Trump.
He was charged with 34 felony counts of fabricating company records after reportedly paying two women to keep their sexual encounters confidential before the 2016 election.
Recall in the news, according to a Wednesday federal court filing in Florida, former U.S. President Donald Trump is suing Michael Cohen for more than $500 million.
Cohen, Trump’s “fixer,” appeared before a Manhattan grand jury that indicted Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, the first time a former president had been charged with a crime.
On April 4, 2024, Republican presidential candidate Trump pled not guilty. Cohen will be a key witness in the case, which involves a hush payment he made before the 2016 election to a porn star who claims she slept with Trump.
Cohen is accused of breaking his attorney-client relationship with Trump by divulging his “confidences” and “spreading falsehoods” through books, podcasts, and media appearances.
