You would have thought this summer couldn’t get worse, but then Adele happened and crushed our hearts.

The singer allegedly announced her intention to take a long hiatus from the music industry.

In an interview that was just shared, she told the German network ZDF, “My tank is quite empty at the minute.”.”Absolutely nothing is in the works, musically speaking.”

Prior to her ten-date residency in Munich, Adele gave the interview. After her run is complete, she intends to retire from the limelight.

“After this, I’d like to take a break and maybe work on some other creative projects,” she told the news source.

Adele also addressed the topic of her feelings regarding her superstar status.

“Being famous isn’t my thing,” she remarked. I am incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to create music on a regular basis.

In order to recharge her creativity, Adele has already withdrawn from the music industry.

Both her 2008 first album and its critically praised follow-up, “21,” were released by the artist three years apart.

Release of her third studio album, “25,” came in 2015 after a further four-year hiatus. She released her fourth studio album, “30,” in 2021.

Adele has previously made it clear what her priorities are in terms of her work, so there’s no need to start a fire in the rain just because we might have had it all.

In 2015, she stated to Rolling Stone, “My career’s not my life.””Fun for me.”
