Sarkis Hakopdjanian is a marketing consultant as well as a businessman. He is a graduate of one of the top business institutions in Canada. Sarkis is also the author of the book’ psychology influence of technology consciousness.’

He understands how the human brain functions in marketing and sales management. Sarkis Hakopdjanian worked in corporate for more than ten years before enrolling back in school. He noticed that health practitioners wanted to offer marketing aspects to their clients. He then decided to start his business clinic to train practitioners on marketing and business skills.

The Business clinic aims to support health and wellness individuals. The clients can digest information related to the marketplace and teach their patients about it. This means they will retain their patients through continuous business strategy consultation and sometimes earn referrals.

My passion for health and wellness started when I learned nutrition and exercise. When I joined University, I wanted to change my course to a Bachelor of Science in medicine course. Later, I realized my interest in business, and I decided to do Bachelor’s in commerce.

For ten years, I worked for a corporation where I gained much experience in marketing and sales. Then, I got some injuries, and I had to take some time off. At this moment, I decided to go back to school and study psychology to learn human behavior. That’s when I met many practitioners who wanted to operate in the business world. So I set up a business clinic to offer them the business and marketing strategies knowledge.

On a typical day, I wake up to focus on holistic nutrition first, then exercise before taking yoga classes for meditation. It has helped my mind stay healthy. At 7:00 am, I am ready for my office. I go through my emails and respond to urgent calls. In the afternoon, I will connect with several clients. Most evenings, I will read books and do little research about psychology, marketing and philosophy.

When an idea pops up in my mind, I will write it down. Then, I conduct extensive research to see if the idea is worth implementing. Also, I will ask myself If I feel it’s ready. Later, I have to implement it and analyze my goals.

Sometimes I get excited when many individuals are yearning to become entrepreneurs and run their businesses. Others are eager to work as freelancers while the rest wants contract jobs. This is driving away from the traditional behavior where a person could be employed in a similar company for thirty years to collect a pension.

To remain productive, exercise and meditation have been at the top. They relieve my mind from stress. I practice them regularly to make my mindset stay productive.

To a younger Sarkis Hakopdjanian, never be afraid of failures. Every successful individual has a bunch of failures. It’s a portion of the formula on the journey to great success; my fear for failures hindered my life at one point. But through courage and faith, I believe I can do great things.

I will spend an hour or two just in a silent mode to meditate on my life. It’s like an indirect investment. It has bored positive results in my life. I don’t see anything to regret in my company.

A strategy that I employ to grow my business is learning through various experiences. Many professionals have passed through hard times they note in books and articles. Those are my great source of information. They have helped in accelerating my Business Clinic.

One mistake I made was setting up a business and running with my two friends. I would advise any entrepreneur never to make this mistake again. Disagreement on the job will ruin your friendship. Currently, I know how to separate friendship from my personal life.

To anyone willing to start a business, you could opt to start a website or mobile app for healthcare patients. For example, many patients go on Facebook to get information through support groups. Those groups are good, but carrying the audience to another specific app would be great.

If you give me $100, I will run to Udemy for two or three courses. They help in the development of my business. Learning from professional experts gives you a wide view of things.

My favorite software is eClincher which helps in creating good social media graphics. I use social media a lot to brand my company. Lastly, John Brockman has written a novel, “This Will Make You Smart.” It has had a positive influence on an entrepreneur’s career.
