London, July 5 After Keir Starmer’s Labour Party scored a resounding election win, Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of Britain, said that he would meet with King Charles on Friday to officially retire from his position as Prime Minister. He also stated that he would step down as the head of the Conservative Party, which had been trounced.

I have given this job my all, but you have sent a clear signal that the government of the United Kingdom must change, and yours is the only judgment that matters,” Sunak said in an address to voters outside the prime minister’s office in Downing Street. Sunak was referring to the fact that the government of the United Kingdom might be changed.

It is my obligation to accept responsibility for this tragedy, and I have heard your anger and your disappointment. I would want to express my regret to all of the Conservative candidates and campaigners who put in hard work but were not successful. I am sorry that we were unable to provide the results that your efforts merited.
