Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of sex trafficking and rape of singer Cassie. R&B vocalist Cassandra Ventura filed a lawsuit against rapper and hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on Thursday in federal court. In the case, she accuses Combs, whom she dated in the past and whose record label she signed with, of subjecting her to repeated acts of physical abuse, sexual servitude, and rape.

Combs is accused of forcing Ventura, who works under the stage name Cassie, to participate in sexual activities with a series of male prostitutes he hired. At the same time, he observed and videotaped the interactions for his enjoyment. This is one of the primary charges made against Combs by Ventura, who plays under the stage name Cassie.

Combs is accused of frequently hitting Ventura during a 10-year professional and emotional relationship during which he dominated her via intimidation and by plying her with drugs and alcohol, according to the lawsuit that was filed in the United States District Court in Manhattan. The case was filed on behalf of Ventura.

Combs is accused of raping Ventura, who is 37 years old after she brought up the possibility of ending their relationship in 2018. The alleged incident took place in 2018. Ben Brafman, the attorney for Combs, issued a statement in which he said that his client “vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.” when she failed in her attempt to coerce Combs into paying her $30 million by threatening to publish a scathing book about their relationship, Brafman claimed that Ventura resorted to filing a lawsuit “riddled with baseless and outrageous lies” when her attempt to bribe Combs failed.

Combs, now 54 years old and the creator of the historic record company Bad Boy Records, is widely regarded as one of the most important producers and executives in the hip-hop industry. In addition, he is a very successful performer in his own right and the impresario of his own Sean John clothing brand. According to estimates provided by Forbes magazine in 2017, he was the highest-paid musician in the world, with an annual income of over $130 million.

Combs, whose monikers were previously known as Diddy, was portrayed in the complaint filed on Thursday as an unpredictable and dominating guy with aggressive inclinations against Ventura and others.

According to the allegations made in the complaint, he coerced Ventura into carrying his revolver for him in her handbag; on one occasion, he hung one of Ventura’s friends from the balcony of a high-rise hotel room; and he blew up a car that belonged to artist Kid Cudi after discovering that he was interested in Ventura.

According to the allegations made in the complaint, Ventura first met Combs in late 2005, when she was 19 and he was 37. Shortly after meeting Combs, Ventura signed a 10-album recording deal with Bad Boy Records, and a few years later, the two began a sexual connection.

The action does not seek any particular sum of damages from the defendant. Instead, it states that Ventura is seeking “justice for the decade of her life that Mr. Combs took away from her with threats of violence, excessive use of drugs, physical and psychological abuse, and sexual slavery.”

The lawsuit alleges that the defendants violated sex trafficking and human trafficking laws that are enacted at the federal, New York, and California state levels.

Combs is the most recent high-profile figure in the recording industry to be accused of sexual misconduct in recent lawsuits. Other high-profile figures in the industry who have been accused of sexual misconduct include singer-songwriter Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, record producer L.A. Reid, and music executive Neil Portnow, who was formerly the chairman and CEO of the Recording Academy, which is the organization that hosts the Grammy Awards.
