Representative Adam Schiff became the most prominent Democrat to publicly ask Biden to get out of the presidential race.

After speaking during a ceremony celebrating the 13th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act in the East Room of the White House in Washington, DC, March 23, 2023, US President Joe Biden meets with California Democrat Nancy Pelosi.
According to media sources, Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and Nancy Pelosi have warned President Joe Biden about his chances of winning November.

On Wednesday,  Senate Democratic leader Schumer and House Democratic leader Jeffries advised 81-year-old Biden to drop out of the presidential race.

ABC said that Schumer had a “blunt conversation” with the president in Delaware on Saturday, “making the case that it would be best if Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race,” according to a source close to both men.

Former House Speaker Pelosi told Biden in a recent phone call that polling shows he cannot defeat Donald Trump and could destroy the Democrats’ chance of winning the House in November if he seeks a second term.

The network claimed four call-briefing sources.

No sources stated Pelosi told Biden she thinks the president should pull out.
