If you’re a gamer, than you’ve probably heard of Rooster Teeth. With the 8th largest viewed YouTube channel in the world, over 5 million subscribers and 2.2 billion views Rooster Teeth provides entertaining videos of guys who basically get paid to sit around and play video games all day. Not only do they add hilarious comedy to their videos, they provide instructional advice as to what to do in a specific game, like Minecraft, Halo and even The Legend of Zelda. Rooster Teeth is a $1.4 million company, so they must be doing something right (achievement unlocked).

Rooster Teeth Production Studios was founded by Burnie Burns April 1st 2003 IN Austin Texas. He is the active Creative Director of ‘Red vs. Blue’, which is the longest running web series in history. Other series in which the company does include, ‘RT Recap,’ ‘Social Disorder’, ‘How To with Joel and Adam’, ‘Let’s Play Minimations’, and recently ‘Ten Little Roosters’.

There are no limits with these guys. If they think of it, it gets created. Meaning, if they are just sitting around one day and get an idea, they get on it and send it out there for viewers, no matter how ridiculous or professional it may be.

Not only do they produce entertaining gamer videos but live action game role-play as well as the Best Gaming Podcast of 2012.

“Rooster Teeth has won multiple awards, including 2011 and 2012 Best Animated Series (Red vs. Blue) from the IAWTV, and has been featured by hundreds of major publications and networks including MTV, G4, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone Magazine, Wired Magazine, and many more.”

As said, these guys basically play video games all day, make movies and have fun while getting paid for it. If you’re thinking, “What the Hell?” here is the official Rooster Teeth Response:

Q: What the hell?
A: Yeah, we know.
Q: No seriously. What the hell?
A: Oh. We just write scripts and then use videogames to act them out. It’s a new style of animation that some people call machine. It allows making weekly pieces of animation with a small group of people.
