Investigators and experts claim OnlyFans’ child sexual assault photographs and videos are hard to quantify.
OnlyFans provides the only public statistics. U.S.-based electronic service providers, including social networking and porn sites, must report suspected child abuse to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), a nonprofit Congress created to handle such allegations. OnlyFans reports to NCMEC willingly as a UK corporation.

OnlyFans reports suspected child sexual abuse to NCMEC’s CyberTipline and removes it immediately. One OnlyFans spokesperson said the firm made 347 CyberTipline reports in 2023 “out of hundreds of millions of posts”. “This is proof of OnlyFans’ strict safety measures.”
OnlyFans says much of this dubious material “does not turn out to be CSAM” (child sexual abuse material) “and/or are duplicate images or videos” on its website.

Without paying for a subscription or using OnlyFans, police may usually receive a website link, a non-explicit photo of the artist, and account description.
Amick added, “Beyond that, it’s extremely difficult to acquire content hosted behind OnlyFans paywalls.”
The OnlyFans spokesman claimed the firm gives police account credentials, content, and direct communications when they request assistance. She claimed “Police investigators do not need to subscribe to content”.

NCMEC stated access began in late 2023 and was “limited” to OnlyFans accounts submitted to its CyberTipline or linked to a missing child investigation. Additionally, NCMEC “does not proactively monitor, moderate, or actively seek to review content at scale” behind OnlyFans’ paywalls or on any other website.
Michael Ward, a “independent third party” monitor, was hired by OnlyFans in 2021 “to provide even greater transparency into our industry-leading safety measures,” its website said.
The website stated that Ward, a former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor currently at Baker Botts, would evaluate OnlyFans’ safety standards. Questions regarding him were ignored by OnlyFans.
