North Korea blames Israel for causing bloodshed in Gaza. Tuesday saw the first mention of the armed hostilities between Israel and the Islamist organization Hamas in the official state media of North Korea, which blamed Israel for the carnage in Gaza.

Rodong Sinmun, a Workers’ Party mouthpiece, published a brief story about the battle and deaths, citing international media.

“The international community claims that this clash was the result of Israel’s constant criminal acts against the Palestinian people, and that the fundamental way out is to build an independent Palestinian state,” claimed the publication.

Following a deadly weekend onslaught by Hamas, the carnage, which has claimed more than 1,500 lives, sparked worldwide professions of solidarity for Israel and pleas for a halt to the war and the protection of civilians.

In anticipation of a ground invasion by Israel, which has mobilized an unprecedented 300,000 reservists and put a siege on Gaza, Hamas has promised to murder an Israeli detainee every time Israel destroys a Palestinian home without notice.

The official North Korean media frequently criticizes Western perspectives on global issues, particularly those of the United States.

State media blasted “hostile forces inside and outside Syria” on Monday for a recent drone assault that killed several people in the nation, describing it as a terrorist effort to topple President Bashar al-Assad’s government.
