Nintendo Switch Now on Preorder

Nintendo fans are now able to preorder the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch has been described as a device that will not only allow you to game at home but on the go as well. Those who preorder are guaranteed to be able to retrieve the device once it becomes available in March. Nintendo plans to updates consumers on other details such as specs and specific prices very soon.

The Nintendo Store in New York announced on Twitter the preorder date, and they also stated that Nintendo Switch devices would be available in “a limited quantity.” Customers can preorder the Nintendo Switch “while supplies last”, but there is no confirmation on how many there are.

While the Twitter announcement didn’t disclose the exact release date, a presentation of the Nintendo Switch occurred Thursday at 11 p.m. ET.  The presentation stated that customers can expect an official launch of the Nintendo Switch March 3rd. Countries like in Japan, the United States, as well as others, will experience the launch at the same time. The Nintendo website, as well as Twitter and YouTube, offered a live streaming of the presentation.

Many have questioned the pricing of the Nintendo Switch. Back in November, when there was first talk about the Nintendo Switch, prices estimated in Canada were CAN$329. In the U.S., the price was $245. Even the United Kingdom predicted their prices to be £199.99.

During the presentation, however, the U.S. the price predicted at $299.99. As for prices in other countries, that has yet to be determined. Customers looking for any more upcoming information on the Nintendo Switch can keep a look out on Nintendo’s website.
