Nik Delgado is the co-founder and president of Simple Format. This marketing urgency uses social media to sell out popular events. Nik has had a long passion for entrepreneurship since he was a kid.

While in college, he was a team leader for engineering clubs. One popular project was developing the Hyperloop pod, which was absorbed by SpaceX. Nik Delgado likes building models that improve the next generation’s life. He is still learning through his current company, and he has more ideas to implement, a report by techrunch.

When I graduated from college, I got an internship at Northrop Grumman during the summer. I worked for a few weeks, and then I realized being an employee wasn’t my thing. So entrepreneurship was the only remaining option in my life.

Then, I swarmed into research to get something that could add value to people. I set up Simple Format to help young startups and businesses grow through marketing. This was the best way to earn some dollars.

I have a routine that guides my typical day. By 5:00 am, I am awake, then I visit the gym, work on some yoga challenges and meditate. At around 7:00 am, I will prepare my to-do list. During the day, I will follow my timetable to exhaust all the activities. I have to set an extra hour for learning.

My routine schedule and meditation are the top activities that have helped my brain remain productive. For example, meditation will help me appreciate what I have achieved and focus on tomorrow. It adds more energy to my body and brain. On the other hand, a routine schedule helps standardize my daily activities. I ensure I have constant bedtime to create a room for rest.

To bring ideas to life, I leverage each new thing that comes to my brain. I grab it with excitement; divide it into small categories to truly implement it. I need to ensure I test it to the last gasp using the available input. If you follow up on an idea, never let logic kill it. When you don’t have the required items or gadgets doesn’t mean you cannot implement them. Use the available raw materials that you can afford.

I am proud when I see the space industry grow. SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic compete among themselves, which is something good. We have seen more than 100 people travel to space, which is the next big business. In the future, everyone will access the space.

To remain productive, I don’t miss my workouts. Instead, I prioritize having good health over anything else.

To a younger Nik Delgado, success doesn’t happen overnight:

  • You have to wake up and cling to other giant people in your field.
  • Learn from your mentors and the people you look onto.
  • AS you push on your journey, you will learn a lot.

Those who aren’t in the entrepreneurship world think that the journey is easy. It isn’t a glamorous and cool thing. Try to look at media news, and we are facing a lot of problems like tax, tough rules, and many untold facts. We have 99% of stupid things we go through, but the media don’t bring out; it’s hard out here.

Through affirmation and meditation, my mindset remains positive. I depend much on logic. Since being an entrepreneur is not easy, I have to treat my body respectfully. Work hard throughout the day and give yourself a 30-minute treatment.

To grow my business, I depend mostly on quality Facebook ads. I build automated lead ads for event organizers and save them in the booked calendar. The reminders become my daily ringtones on my computers.

For sure, I failed several times during the pre-seed season of my company. I revolved around simple things that I could have gotten help with somewhere. That was the moment I realized people were there to help each other. Seeking an assistant does not mean you’re too dependent.

I like being a philanthropist, so if you give me $100, I will direct it to a charity organization. Currently, I am working with Memoirs of WWI, a non-profit organization. I work hard to get more to give out to those less unfortunate families. Furthermore, I write documents about our past heroes who fought for our freedom.

To the developers of superhuman, I congratulate you. This email application sends a bunch of information to multiple people. Moreover, its user is friendly with a simple UI.

Books contain confidential information, so I recommend people to read. One of the best books I came across is Chalie Munger’s “Poor Charlies’s Allmanack.” It has wise words from the world of business.
