Maria Curcio is the founder of the BuggyBeds business, which offers a unique detecting device for bedbugs that will never interfere with your daily routine and will give you peace of mind wherever you go. Its intention is to show you a potential problem before it is too late. The BuggyBeds monitoring can detect for up to a period of six months.

The BuggyBeds gadget is positioned beneath the four corners of your mattress so that it is hidden and doesn’t cause discomfort while you sleep. The gadget’s glue monitor attracts bed bugs and catches them on a sticky pad. The gadget can also be used on other types of furniture like couches and even in your automobile.

I developed BiggyBeds after learning how prevalent bed bugs had become in homes across the United States of America. Unfortunately, once the bed bugs are in someone’s residence, it is only a matter of time before they start becoming fully infested, and cases are fast increasing. On the other hand, BuggyBeds is a product that has the potential to tackle a global problem.

Before, BuggyBeds was available at Home Depot and Burlington Coat Factory. We had previously declined a $5 million bid for trademarks and patents. We needed an investor to assist as in the acceleration business.

My partner Veronica and I went to the Shark Tank pitch seeking a $125,000 investment in exchange for a 7% equity in the business. That was worth $1.8 million. After our presentation, Mr. Wonderful requested is to leave the room while he lobbied his fellow shark on collaborating on an offer.

When we return, Kevin makes an offer of $250,000 for a 25% stake share in the business. Barbara gives an offer of $150,000 for a 15% stake share, but she then withdraws her offer. Finally, mark speaks up and suggests that they all work together on a deal. Barbara and Robert accept. We exited the tank with a deal from all five sharks. The deal was a $250,000 offer for a 25% stake in BuggyBeds.

Shortly after BuggyBeds premiered, I was interviewed by Beyond the Tank. I needed the sharks to assist me in speeding up retail distribution. We finalized the deal with the sharks, and BuggyBeds was in roughly 60 Home Depot shops before the recording. We quickly expanded to 350 stores, and we will soon be in more.

To a young Maria Curcio, you should pitch your idea to professionals. Once you have an idea that is well thought out, the best test of its worth is trying and selling it to someone. Inventing a successful pitch requires effective brainstorming and strategy. So you should make sure that you take all the necessary steps to do so.

Also, you can find out opinions on similar products. User forums and online discussions can give you a good insight into what consumers honestly think about a service or product. This will help to identify their expectations and need and find out what upsets them. You can also organize a focus group to help you gain some insights into what people think of your idea.

75 Burlington Coat Factory stores also carry the product. Currently, BuggyBeds products are available at all of their locations. In addition, we have distributor agreements in over 40 countries and a significant institutional, wholesale channel. Over the years, the firm has also created new goods. For example, we also produce tick and flea traps and mosquito repellent bands in addition to Bed Bug traps. We are still in business with annual revenue of $4 million.
