Linda Yaccarino, Twitter’s new CEO, announced late Monday that she had started her job a month after Elon Musk appointed her.

“It happened—first day in the books!,” she tweeted.

Twitter, led by former NBCUniversal advertising head Yaccarino, is striving to recover from ad revenue losses.
Musk, who became CEO after buying Twitter for $44 billion last October, had stated Yaccarino would assist in constructing an “everything app.”

Former NBCUniversal executive Joe Benarroch joined Twitter Monday. Before joining Twitter, he managed communication strategy for Comcast’s Advertising and Partnerships division under Yaccarino.
