LG Display (034220. KS), a South Korean display panel producer, reported its fourth consecutive quarterly loss, missing projections, as worldwide demand for PCs and displays remained low in an uncertain economic climate.

LG Display, an Apple Inc (AAPL.O) supplier, lost 1.1 trillion won ($822.59 million) in the January-March quarter, compared to 38 billion won a year earlier.

The result missed a 660 billion won loss anticipated by 18 Refinitiv SmartEstimate experts, weighted toward more accurate analysts.

LG Display reported 4.4 trillion won in revenue, down 32%.

After the earnings release, LG Display shares fell 4%, compared to a 0.2% market dip (.KS11).
