Kayla Pendleton grew up with a passion for digital marketing. She was lucky to find a job that allowed her to work from home. But at times, she realized how destructive it was while working from home. In addition, it was tough to balance between chores and her job.

She felt isolated, hence falling into depression and social media anxiety. This was a big problem for Kayla Pendleton. But, through baby steps, she transformed the problem into a solution that could help many other entrepreneurs.

Kayla Pendleton was 26 years old when she launched ‘Her Space.’ This is a co-working spacious environment for women around Fresno, Ca. The business has been here for almost three years, and over 100 women work from this area daily. There is a desk, meeting spaces, a kitchen, and private offices.

Kayla Pendleton is planning some projects to help females worldwide have a working location. She is married with two beautiful babies. Kayla is interested in boat riding and hiking together with her family.

After struggling with the lonely condition at home, I remembered there was a time I worked under space in San Diego. This happened while I was on vacation for a couple of months. Since the internet is free, I dived into research. Then, I came up with Her Space.

My typical day is always occupied with multiple meetings. I often engage in mentorship programs or train my team on what needs to be done. I have twelve members who worked tirelessly. We have a system that helps us manage our progress. On most occasions, I indulge in tasks unrelated to my business to expand my knowledge.

I am ready to absorb any idea that comes to mind. My mind is good enough to stick with the idea; I go through it and weigh if it’s useful. If it’s essential, I will let my team know how to execute it to become part of our plan. Being a CEO, you must learn to be on your toes, making decisions as fast as possible. Opportunities will run away if you delay even by a single minute.

I wish alternative financing options could be there when I set up my business. From personal experience, I struggled to look for investors to support my project. But when I look in the industry right now, many investors are willing to support small businesses, that is very okay.

To remain productive, I keep everything under a tight deadline. Maybe I would say I work well under high pressure. Furthermore, I know the right moment to rest when I keep my boundaries. From the first day, I loved my business; it’s something that I cannot turn off. For almost two years, I figured out how to handle my business.

To a younger Kayla Pendleton, you don’t have to possess everything to call yourself heroin. Embrace what’s there at the moment. It’s not compulsory to stay busy all the time.

To all the entrepreneurs, have a morning routine that works for you. Have sometimes to breathe in and out before heading to the office with a clean mind. On most days, whenever I miss my morning routine, something awkward must distract my schedule.

Every company has a strategy that makes things run smoothly. For example, I struggled with sales tax in my early days. Later, I realized sales involves conversing with some people; you win if your product or service fits their needs. Referrals will come later when they appreciate your service. It is fun when you have opportunities with new people.

The worst mistake is taking your close friends as employees on your job. That happened to me, I employed my close pal, and after two months, the cash flow was not enough to pay her. It was tough, and it affected both of us. This pushed me to hustle harder out of my business to get the money.

When it comes to technology, Asana is my software. It helps manage my projects, plan events, run social media, and do any tasks within the specified time. Moreover, all my employees have access to it; they know exactly what they should do tomorrow.

Jen Sincero wrote a wonderful story, “Badass,”. It has taught me a lot of tricks when it comes to entrepreneurship. Your mind is a string gadget that can dictate your life. Have a positive mindset, and you will become a hero.
