Jeff Bezos is the co-Founder and the chairman of Amazon, the best online shop in the world. He is an American, a technologist, and an entrepreneur.

Early Life

His father, Ted Jorgenson, was a salesperson at Walmart and his mother, Jacklyn, was a bank-teller. Jeffrey Preston Bezos was born when his mother was a high school student. They lived in New Mexico at a tender age. His father retired at an early age from ranching. That is where Jeff spends most of his time. They had a good relationship with his biological father.

After a certain period, his parents got divorced. Jacklyn re-married to Miguel Bezos. After they conducted a wedding, Miguel adopted Jeff; hence he changed his name to Jeff Bezos. Who then migrated to Texas, USA. Miguel was an engineer, and so naturally, the art of Bezos.
Jeff Bezos developed the urge for mechanics. He had skills at a tender age; he dismantled a crib using a screwdriver.

Education

He joined Oaks Elementary School from grade four to six. Miami Palmetto was the palace where he showed up to his full potential. While in high school, he once won Knight Silver at the University of Florida. This was after he attended the Student Science Training Program and came up with a project.
Jeff Bezos went to Princeton University to take a BSC in Electrical and Computer science. Four years later, he graduated with Phi-Beta Kappa. He became a member of Tau-BetaPi.

Immediately after graduation, he joined Wall Street, where he worked in the department of computer science, a report by CNBC. At this point, he was collecting much information about online shopping.

Jeff Bezos Starts Amazon

He quit his job to set up online shopping for selling books. In July 1994, Amazon commenced in Bellevue, Washington, USA. He had several friends who helped him perform various tasks.
The business was expanding well until other booksellers and publishers complained. They went ahead to put strict rules on his business, which made him almost quit.
Jeff Bezos agreed to make a low profit as he worked on other projects. He started selling everything affordable. He set up a central building where clients could order, then go to take items. This became successful after he sold 1 million shares to other people and companies. This raised a good lump sum of $671.

Net Worth

Until 2018, Jeff Bezos had 16.9% of all shares, which means he owned 83.9 million shares in Amazon. He gets a salary of $81,840.
According to Forbes real-time billionaires, he was ranked the richest person in 2021. His net worth accumulates to $193. He has also invested in Blue origin, Twitter, Uber, and Google, which provides extra income.
He has gone ahead to invest in Africa’s startup Chipper Cash. Chipper cash was founded in 2018 by Maijid Moujale from Ghana and Ham Serunjogi from Uganda.

Personal Life

He married MacKenzie Title in 1994. They settled in Seattle for a while before they divorced. Together they have three sons and a single daughter whom they adopted from China. They divorced in 2019 as his wife took 25% of Amazon couple shares.
He accused David Pecker of investigating his private life. The reports say that he had a marital affair with Lauren Sanchez. But Elkana Abramowitch, an attorney for David, said the story came from a reliable source seven years ago.

Jeff Bezos as a Philanthropist

Bezos has been at the top, supporting the well-being of the people. In 2017, the charitable fund amounted to $100 million. In 2018, he financed daycare centers for homeless individuals in the USA. Furthermore, he provided several dollars to build houses for the night shelter.

Jeff Bezos believes in climatic change and how it affects the world. He founded Bezos Earth and invested $10 billion to combat climate change. He formed groups in 2020, giving each a certain amount of money to deal with a specific climate area. Covid-19 leads to insufficient food circulation in various Americas. He offered $100 million to food banks to feed the Americans.

Besides, Bezos is a movie actor. He played a role in Star Trek Beyond as a comic. The main aim of the move was to build a ‘Star Trek computer.’
