On Thursday, Carlsberg (CARLb.CO) announced Jacob Aarup-Andersen as its new CEO.

Aarup-Andersen replaces Cees’t Hart, who retired earlier this month.

Aarup-Andersen joins Carlsberg from ISS(ISS.CO), where he has been CEO since 2020.

Jacob Aarup-Andersen, a businessman who has led ten companies, is currently Group Chief Executive Officer of ISS A, Chairman of ISS World Services A, Chairman of ISS Global An, and Chief Executive Officer of ISS Facility Services, Inc. (all subsidiaries of ISS A), Group CEO & Director at Iss Tesis Yonetim Hizmetleri A S, Chairman of Kreditforeningen Danmarks Pensionsafviklingskasse, and Chair of Kreditforeningen Danmarks.

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB and Forsikringsselskabet Danica, Skadeforskrings A, are also on his board.

Mr. Aarup-Andersen was Danske Bank’s Member-Executive Board & Head-Wealth Management. A Chairman of Realkredit Danmark A, Danske Hypotek AB, MobilePay A, Danske Invest Asset Management AS, Member-Executive Board at Danica Pension, Livsforsikringsaktieselskab, and Danske Bank A (all subsidiaries of Danske Bank A), Associate at Goldman Sachs International, Partner & Investment Manager at Montrica Investment Management LLP, and Principal at TPG-Axon Capital (UK) LLP.

He graduated from Copenhagen University.
