Heartbreaking Loss: Cole Brings Plenty, Known for “Yellowstone 1923,” Found Dead in Kansas

The death of actor Cole Brings Plenty, known for his role in the Yellowstone spinoff series, 1923, has shocked fans and the entertainment industry. Brings Plenty, aged 27, was found deceased in Kansas after being reported missing by his family earlier in the week when he failed to attend an appointment with his agent.

The Johnson County sheriff’s office announced the discovery of Brings Plenty’s body after local police investigated an unoccupied vehicle. The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation, and authorities have not released further details.

Brings Plenty was identified as a suspect in a domestic violence case by the Lawrence Kansas police department (LKPD) earlier in the week. The LKPD stated they had probable cause for his arrest after responding to reports of a female screaming for help. Brings Plenty fled the scene before officers arrived, and traffic cameras captured him leaving the city immediately afterward.

The news of Brings Plenty’s death was confirmed by his uncle, actor Moses Brings Plenty, who shared a statement from Cole’s father, Joe, expressing gratitude for the prayers and support from well-wishers. The family requested privacy as they mourned their loss and navigated through the difficult time.

Cole Brings Plenty portrayed the character Pete Plenty Clouds in the TV series 1923, a prequel to Yellowstone, which depicted the trials and tribulations of the Dutton family during Prohibition and the early stages of the Great Depression. His sudden passing has left fans and colleagues mourning his loss and reflecting on his contributions to the entertainment industry.
