Josep Borrell, the EU’s top diplomat, urged Turkey on Tuesday to fix election flaws noted by European observers.

“We note the preliminary findings and conclusions of the International Election Observation Mission of the OSCE and Council of Europe, and call on Turkish authorities to address the shortcomings identified,” Borrell said.

“The EU prioritizes transparent, inclusive, credible, and level-playing elections.”
