Elyse Oleksak is the founder and president of Bantam Bagels. She is an alumnus of Columbia University, founded in New York City, where she graduated with a degree in administration.

She worked with various companies like Y & P Parade as a brand planning officer from 2006 to 2007. During that time, she was also a youth director. That is where her roots as chief executive began to nourish. After five months, Elyse Oleksak left the company for JWT.

Now she is an Account Associate at JWT. Elyse Oleksak managed to work with different top skilled and experienced employees at Johnson & Johnson brands. She learned how to develop brand strategies and plans depending on consumers’ reactions. During some moments, she would organize campaigns for different marketing urgencies.

I would say I was a lucky girl. I immediately got my papers, and several companies were ready to absorb me. Young Rubicam Group, JWT, Y $ P were among the first companies I worked with. After four years of experience, I got a bigger role at Your Move Coach Group. I was the chief Executive Coach, and you can imagine the pressure. On most occasions, I would sit between clients and employees to ensure quality service was being offered. In addition, every week, I would ensure that all the meetings take as short as possible to allow workers to perform their daily duties.

It was also a chance to engage with a young enthusiast willing to learn from the company. While working with Title Talent Management, I was invited to join Morgan Stanley. I became a senior business administration associate in 2011. This is where I learned about various communications channels, from clients to senior officers. We designed various engagement channels to ensure all the employees were comfortable and met their desires. Furthermore, we focused on how we could cut off some expenses to reduce the cost of production.

After two years with Morgan Stanly Investment, it was time to quit and look for another source of income. Together with my husband, we brainstormed on several ideas. First, I wanted to run a company that would give me the freedom to do what I wanted. So, I set up Bantam Bagels, and after three years, we made it to the Shark Tank. Our headquarters are located at Bleecker Street in New York.

My husband has always an innovative person since the day we mate. Nick falls in the class of people with a high IQ. He proposed the idea of miniature legal walls that were to be bundled with cheese cream, and it worked wonders. We began baking the product immediately in the morning.

Currently, we have our empire offering food service to more than 1000 companies and organizations. Our toasty crispy has attracted thousands of people. That’s how we got an invitation to Shark Tank.

Most of our analog parents might force a child to take a certain course to be a doctor or a lawyer. But, they don’t cherish when you set up a small company. Some parents cannot support their kids who dream of owning their business.

Although we had a small house, our kitchen served us well. It is now our daily office. Our products are more iconic to attract people. Most of our ingredients are egg bagel, cheese cream, bare floor, and French total. During our time on Shark Tank, we had a recipe that we gave out freely. We got a capital venture, Lori Greiner, who offered us $275000 as a pre-seed investment. He also posted us on his social media twice a week. It was our breakthrough in the world of business.

After our session on Shark Tank, the company managed to earn revenue worth $13 million. We expanded our grocery stores in various states. We transferred our bakery to Brooklyn third-party company. All that appreciation goes to Greiner.

To a younger Elyse Oleksak, always work hard for any opportunity you secure in life. Also, make as many friends as possible because they might become your clients in the future.
