Since the A-list actress’ divorce to unfaithful ex-husband Jesse James in 2010, Sandra Bullock has spent the majority of time with her 4 year old son Louis. Late last year, Bullock told Entertainment Weekly that “If a relationship should come along, great. But I feel like I’m not missing anything yet. Maybe one day I will.” Has this day finally come?
Reports are claiming that Sandra Bullock, 49, is dating Capitan America hunk Chris Evans, 32. The rumors started swarming back in May when Evans joined Bullock for dinner at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood with mutual friend Chelsea Handler. America just loves to gossip about the prospect of two beauties uniting.
Although there is a considerable age gap amongst Bullock and Evans, about 17 years, this wouldn’t be unusual for Bullock. In 2002 she dated Ryan Gosling, who is 16 years her junior. Besides, time certainly hasn’t worn on Bullock. She is looking as exquisite as ever, approaching her 50th birthday this July.
A source told E! News that, “They haven’t put a title on it, but they really like each other”. The source also stated that, “They are not in a relationship, but they are definitely hanging out and are in the early getting-to-know-each-other phase.”
So perhaps this romance has a slow beginning. However, Evan’s attraction to her is certainly nothing new. Back in 2012, he told Playboy after meeting Bullock at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party that she had always been his celebrity crush since childhood. He even said that when he saw her film “Speed” in seventh grade he recalls thinking, “That’s her”.
Even though there’s no concrete indication of where this romance will head, it definitely seems like an ideal prospect for the two. If they became official, there’s no telling what the power couple could accomplish.
