British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Ben Wallace attended the emergency reaction committee meeting in Sudan on Saturday.

Sudan’s army evacuated foreigners Saturday after a week of warfare.

The army said the US, UK, France, and China embassies would leave Khartoum “in the coming hours.”

When asked about the reports, a government source said, “We recognise that the situation is extremely concerning for British nationals trapped by the fighting in Sudan.”

“The Ministry of Defence is working with the Foreign Office to prepare for a number of contingencies to support British nationals and diplomatic staff in Khartoum.”

The British Foreign Office updated its Sudan travel warning on Saturday to state, “in the event of a ceasefire, any decision to move must be taken at individual risk.”
