Brad Ruffkess is the founder and CEO of the BoxLock innovative supply chain access control platform. The company helps transfer assets in a more secure manner. BoxLocks security and inventory solutions make the chain more responsible, consistent, and efficient.

In addition, the company has smart devices and a pioneering software platform. The software products seamlessly integrate into existing business systems. It enables the companies to access unparalleled control over all facets of their supply chain.

Brad Ruffkess worked at FIGG engineering group in Florida as the lead web solution designer. This was immediately after graduating from Tulane University in 2000. He also worked for The Coca-Cola Company for almost nine years. This is where he made main progress in the marketing, development, media, and strategy areas.

At a young age, I taught myself coding skills. I designed and maintained the PhotoshopUser magazine, MacToday Magazine, and KW Videos websites. I had to develop the site structure, user interface, and a template that incorporated the content in each magazine. In addition, I worked with the advertising sales department closely to create the valued opportunities for banner placement within the sites.

Development journey

In 2001, I joined the FIGG Engineering Group. My role was to manage all aspects of strategy and developed its external and internal web-based tools, including its intranet. This was recognized as one of the top 10 intranets of 2003 by the Normans Group. In addition, I invented and provided training sessions for the team members in the company. I was also responsible for pursuing and identifying new business opportunities.

Furthermore, I joined Macquarie Intelligent Communication company as a senior information architect. I directly worked with customers to capture business requirements and develop online strategies. They were to provide the best value for the available resources.

Birth of Boxlock

I came up with the agency’s point of view and defined the processes around delivering interactive solutions in the Merge Agency company. To add to that, I worked as the Director of Digital Strategy. I created the strategy for major B2B and B2C brands throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

At LazyCampus, I was the Chief Executive Officer, where I operated with third-party developers and composed business ideas. I also formed partnerships and raised angle financing, a network of affinity commerce portals for local smart card-enabled communities.

Sometimes searching for solutions for common problems comes naturally. The reason for coming up with the boxlock solution was inspired by disease. I was sick of people who steal packages left in front of people’s homes. After several packages were stolen from the front of my house, I decided to plan and develop a real-world solution.

In 2017, I came up with the BoxLock idea. The company’s main focus was to build an incredible team that will ensure our partner’s and customers’ packages arrive safely. The company’s inventory, security, and access integrate into the existing systems. It assists businesses in making their supply chain more efficient, reliable, and accountable.

Choosing your employees

When setting up a company, you should first employ smart people who will contribute to the company’s success. Also, always be an outgoing person who compiles ideas from other businesses and tries to build his own.

Now, my company is still running and expanding. Our business plans are offered to entrepreneurs interested in that singular products to be sold for individuals. They can also incorporate products into their own companies.
