According to court records, an Australian project management business has filed a complaint against Twitter Inc. in a U.S. court seeking A$1 million ($665,000) in unpaid bills for work in four nations.

On June 29, Sydney-based Facilitate Corp sued Twitter for breach of contract in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Since Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion last year, the Australian firm’s lawsuit is the latest alleging non-payment of bills and rent.

From 2022 through early 2023, Facilitate deployed sensors in Twitter’s London and Dublin offices, completed a Singapore office fit-out, and cleared a Sydney office.

Facilitate stated Twitter owed 203,000 pounds, S$546,600, and A$61,300 for such works.

Twitter (X Corp) has no media relations office. Twitter Australia was unavailable to Reuters.

Facilitate requested trial-determined compensatory damages, attorney fees, and maximum legal interest.

In May, a former public relations agency filed a suit in a New York court alleging that Twitter had not paid its costs, while early this year, U.S. consulting firm Innisfree M&A Inc. sued Twitter for $1.9 million in unpaid bills after advising Twitter on its acquisition by Musk.

In January, Britain’s Crown Estate, an independent commercial corporation that controls the monarchy’s property holdings, initiated court action over Twitter’s London headquarters rent.
