With the refined ingredients, the latest model of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 comes with a bunch of superadditional features. A few years ago, when a model of the first of its type was launched, it made it clear that the Ryzen Processors can beat Intel chips anytime, with their outclass performance. For Asus, it was not that difficult to prove that a perfect balance of size, performance, and efficiency can come along in a gaming laptop. This is the thing that made it sell for months.

Asus had complaints regarding the touchpad and cooling of the previous model. Along with that, an RGB-backlit keyboard, 14-inch 16:10 display, and an IR webcam are also the included key features that come with the latest Asus ROG Zephyrus G14.

Apart from the elegant design, the excellence consists of the G14’s twin-turbo engine consisting of an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS CPU along with a Radeon RX 6800S GPU.

G14’s Dignified Elegance

The Zephyrus G14 seems similar to the previous version, but the eye-catching animated screen over the back lid is exceptional. A pack of about 1449 LEDs gives a superb outlook to configure your custom animations.

The view is enhanced even when it is disabled, and turning it ON makes people fascinated to see the light show. It is indeed a surprise by Asus.

Opening the laptop with enabled lighting makes it graceful. It is classy to see that the keys and deck have an iridescent shine that flashes a variety of blue and pink color blends. Even though, the elements make the chassis glorious as well.

Touchpad with RBG Keys

Asus found their users complaining about the touchpad’s size and enhanced it with the latest model. The surface is taller and wider on this model, having a 50% increment in size.

The glass of the touchpad has a slightly rubbery feel, is one of the best touchpads to give quick responses to swipes and gestures.

Ports

There are all the necessary ports in a laptop of the same size. There are two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C ports split among each side, an HDMI 2.0b, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack. The USB-C on the left side supports 100W power delivery.

G14’s Display in All About

The 14-inch display is great as compared to the previous model. It comprises a 16:9 aspect ratio that places a hearty hello to a 16:10 panel.

It is taller and narrower in shape that feels more spacious. Specifically when viewing multiple windows side-by-side and scrolling down web pages. The panel consists of a WQXGA IPS 2560 × 1600 panel, which is brighter than the previous version.

Also, the panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, and Pentone, validated with Dolby Vision supports opting for accurate colors.

Preferred AMD

As a part of the latest gaming laptops that prefer AMD over Intel chips, Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is not the first laptop. Instead, it has an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS super fast CPU. The previous model had a GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, but the latest model comes with Radeon RX 6800S.

Battery Life Gives an Edge to Zephyrus G14

Despite the performance, shape, and size, it is bestowed with extensive long battery life. G14 is the first portable gaming laptop with around 10-hour battery backup after assessing the user reviews. Not only the previous model but the same tradition is also repeated in the latest model.

Conclusion

The non-gaming laptops like Dell XPS 15 or HP Spectre are good enough to prefer their discrete GPU. But the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 delivers all out in a single package without sacrificing the size and battery life.

You can wait for the rest of the options that have to enter the market, and it can also be the Razer Blade 14. But relying on to assume the Zephyrus G14 will be the best gaming laptop of 2022.

It is indeed one of the best options for playing games at high frames per second. Not only this, the shape, display, battery life, touchpad, and keyboard are the bonus additions by Asus.
