“Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will work in Washington DC from April 30. On her official Facebook page, spokesman Ani Badalyan announced the next round of negotiations on the agreement on normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan never confirmed the meeting.
After years of mediation, Armenia and Azerbaijan have failed to establish a peace deal on boundary delineation and prisoner exchange.
Azerbaijan opened a new checkpoint on the Lachin corridor near Karabakh last Sunday, which Armenia labeled a blatant breach of a 2020 ceasefire.
