Apple Sends Out Vehicle Again to Improve Maps

It is no secret that Apple maps are certainly not very helpful indeed. The first time around, the Apple maps were not well received with the audience due to glitches and faults in the application.

However, Apple Inc. intends to do something about that as quickly as they can. With new Apple smartphones releasing more frequently than ever before, it would not be too appealing if a basic app such as the maps did not work adequately.

Apple has deployed a fleet of vehicles equipped with cameras to drive around and collect data for the maps. The Apple vehicles will be driving around several major regions such as Ireland, England and the United States around the 15th to 30th June.

Apple assured that the street views of the maps will blur parts of the images that contain faces, number plates and other elements for safety and privacy. The app that was launched in the year 2007 will be getting a decent upgrade soon, much to the relief of iPhone users.
