All the technology gurus are in for a treat, as Apple has set the release date of the iPhone 6 for Sept. 19. There has been a lot of talk regarding the new craze and all the advancement it entails. Sources say Apple has been in close competition with Android, but it expects the slower sales in 2014 to be counteracted by the projected sales from the new iPhone.
So what does this new device have that’s different from what the iPhone has previously released? Well for one, the front retina display will be the largest for an Apple product thus far. “The screen will take up relatively more area on the front of the phone, and will have a smaller hardware border around the screen than on previous iPhones,” according to BGR. The only issue, however, is that the screen is predicted to be roughly 1334 x 750 pixels, which is unfortunately much lower than competing smartphone brands. That’s not to say the iPhone is a scam, but Apple will really need to push the new features in order to stay on top.
With the iPhone 5 already nine months old, the public has been hearing and starting rumors about what Apple has up its sleeve for the next go-round. Luckily, some of the chatter doesn’t seem to be all false, and the new iPhone is expected to offer wireless payment as predicted. It has not yet been released as to the carrier with whom Apple will work for this service. There has been a bit of concern regarding Apple’s ability to follow through after withdrawing this luxury last minute from the iPhone 5, but there seems to be more confidence with the new release.
In addition, the device is anticipated to have a better battery life, roughly a 50 -70 percent improvement. CP Tech reported that Apple filed a patent for wireless charging, so this may be a groundbreaking upgrade as well. All the rumors have not yet been confirmed, but there is no doubt customers will be pleasantly surprised and satisfied when Sept. 19 rolls around.
