In the past, the iPhone has faced several issues with quality checks. The problem with the bending phones, battery issues and of course the ever so dangerous phone explosions.
A problem like that could mean a serious one if the proximity of the phone is not favorable. One such victim of the phone explosion problem is restaurateur Kishen Yadav from India.
Apparently, he has recently purchased the 64gig iPhone6 for Rs. 60,000 ($945 USD). Yadav was happy with this purchase until recently when he was on a call and the phone exploded. Luckily, no one around got hurt from the explosion because he was using a hands free devise.
Yadav complained to Apple services in India and they asked him to submit his phone for investigation. After that, he filed a police complaint under a ‘Non-Cognizable Offence’ of a first information report.
When asked about the details of the incident, Yadav said,
“My face could have got burnt as the phone exploded in a matter of seconds. When I threw the phone, the call was on and the battery was around 70%.”
