According to the South China Morning Post, Alibaba (9988. HK) founder Jack Ma visited his Hangzhou school on Monday.

The article says Ant Group founder Ma addressed education and ChatGPT technologies with the school.

Alibaba owns the SCMP.

Alibaba shares soared almost 4% after the announcement.

According to the article, the millionaire businessman, a former English teacher, returned to China after visiting Hong Kong to see friends and Art Basel.

Ma gave up control of Ant Group, a Chinese financial powerhouse, to end a regulatory onslaught.
