Adelle Archer is the co-founder and CEO of Eterneva. The company focuses on turning cremated ashes into long-lasting diamonds. These are, in return, used to celebrate the lives of those who died some years back. During its first year in operation, the company grew by 250%.
In 2018, Adelle Archer appeared among the ’30 Under 30′ on the Forbes list of young entrepreneurs. While still fresh with Eterneva, he joined the Action School of Business to earn an MBA in Entrepreneurship. The program was called a “Navy SEAL.” At 23, Adelle Archer graduated on top of her class. Over time, she worked as a technology marketing leader with a variety of companies like Square, Twitter, Amazon, and eBay.
I was born in a business-oriented or entrepreneurial family. All my female relatives are entrepreneurs and famous actors. So I guess the DNA followed me. I hate wasting time; that’s the reason I do meaningful things whenever I feel unproductive.
Immediately after my graduation, I developed an interest in working for big tech companies to learn more. The ins and outs of online marketing from those companies helped expand my knowledge. In the same department, I met Garret, my partner with whom we had worked for two different companies within four years.
We had different ideas, and so we decided to learn how the lab-grown –diamond market works. It was the right time; we left our well-paying jobs to start a startup. A few months later, one of my best friends Tracy Kaufman died, and the family decided to offer me a sample of ashes. I wanted to find a solution to keep the ashes as a portion of memory.
I mentioned the issue to a diamond scientist we worked with, and he gave me a piece of knowledge. After that, the idea of turning the ash into a diamond gave rise to our business. We now specialize in eternalizing people and pets to transform their cremated ashes into diamonds.
If you need our help, we can take 8 months before your product is ready. Then, we can go ahead and write an articulating letter, make videos, and package it with the ash diamond itself.
We motivate each other daily. Garrett and I are goal-oriented because we are the founders of Eterneva. We set monthly goals and make sure we achieve them. The urge to achieve more pushes us beyond the limits. I feel good when seeing other people happy with our service. When you shine lightness to a dark place, it is worthy. Although we are working 12 hours a day, we still engage in research. I want to learn more about legacy and how I can transform the way society thinks about death.
Our company has changed the way people celebrate their loved ones. Such practices have been fading away because people don’t get enough time to visit the cemetery. We believe through diamond technology; we can bring social celebration live. By turning the ash into diamonds, we create long-lasting memories.
Of course, I have big dreams about the Eterneva company. Sometimes I am filled with thoughts and ideas about how we can bring more ways to let the dead ones be remembered. We need to stay at the top, offering various services apart from diamond ash.
The incredible growth in our first year was amazing. But the covid-19 has distracted a lot of activities. However, at some point during the pandemic, there were too many orders because people died from the virus.
In the US alone, the rate of cremation is currently above 50%. So we want to capture more knowledge about a person’s life before death. Later, we will be making something like a documentary to be used by the future generation.
I like reading books but am on the way, writing about my experience. But my business partner has always insisted that all our workers read Darren Hardy’s book ‘The compound Effect.’ It has simple messages with deep thoughts. So I consistently repeat the book to get more knowledge. Through this, I realized consistency is the key for any business to prosper. But if you don’t realize how hard it is to build and stick to the routine, you will waste a lot of time.

“Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you.”, this is my favorite daily quote. Whenever I am depressed, I will remind myself about it. It offers me a sense of importance over everything that comes my way. For example, we wanted to buy a business partner at some point. I had fears about what would happen next, but I reminded myself that life demands one to come out of their comfort zone.
I would feel content if someone took me back to my young 18-year-old Adelle. I didn’t know I would own a company. So if you set up a startup while young, it is advantageous. You get to achieve your dream life while young. So don’t be hard on yourself; it sucks. Stay focused and be driven by courage and grace; the rest will come up.
I am on almost all the social media platforms, as @adellearcher. If you want to make an order, kindly text us on Facebook, Instagram, or Linkedin as @eterneva. We will serve you better.
