Adele’s Vegas Concerts in March were postponed due to the singer’s
Adele has announced the postponement of all her Las Vegas residency shows scheduled for the next month due to illness. The British singer shared on social media that doctors advised her to rest but did not disclose specific details about her ailment. This news comes just over five months before her 10-night stadium shows in Munich are set to begin in August.
In a statement, Adele expressed her regret: “Sadly, I have to take a break and pause my Vegas residency.” She revealed that she initially fell ill at the end of her previous run of shows in early November, which were based at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Although the residency was supposed to take a break over the festive period, Adele shared that she hadn’t fully recovered before resuming shows on January 19. Since then, she has performed 12 shows as part of her residency contract, every Friday and Saturday until June.
The new dates for the postponed shows are yet to be announced, but Adele assured ticket holders that the information would be provided as soon as possible.
Adele’s Las Vegas residency initially faced a setback in January 2022, as it was canceled just 24 hours before the first show was scheduled to begin. The delay was attributed to the show being unprepared, partly due to her team members contracting COVID-19.
Despite these challenges, Adele continues to make headlines with her successful career. In January, she announced four concerts in a specially built stadium in Munich, with six additional shows subsequently added. These performances mark her return to mainland Europe in 2016, and Adele expressed excitement about spending her summer in this way, bringing a beautiful phase of her life and career to a close.
