In the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, a poll indicates that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris has an advantage over her Republican opponent.

Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, has a lead over Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, in three battleground states that will be crucial in the forthcoming election in the United States, according to a new survey that was published on August 10, 2024.

According to a Siena College and New York Times poll released on Saturday, Harris received 50% of the vote in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. This is in contrast to the forty-six percent of the vote that Trump received in each of these states.

Harris has just started her campaign for the White House following Vice President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the race last month due to concerns about his age and ability to serve another term in office. The findings come just a few weeks after she made her initial announcement.

Since she officially announced her campaign, Harris has garnered significant support from important parts of the Democratic Party’s base, including young voters and people of color, as well as funders and senior Democratic lawmakers. This support has provided Harris with a significant advantage in her bid for the presidency of the United States.

This week, she made the choice to appoint Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, as her vice presidential running partner, which sparked a fresh wave of enthusiasm for the Democratic ticket.

However, the unwavering support that the Biden administration has shown for Israel in the midst of the Gaza war continues to be a source of criticism, particularly in the state of Michigan, which is a crucial swing state and is home to one of the largest Arab American populations in the United States.

During a rally that took place this week in Detroit, Harris responded to a group of protestors who had interrupted her address in order to call for an end to the continuing conflict.
