Three people were injured in a stabbing on a Tokyo train, and one woman was arrested. Three men were stabbed and rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after a woman held a knife on a train at Tokyo’s Akihabara Station, according to Japanese police.

A Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department official said that the lady caused injuries with a knife on the Yamanote loop line, one of the city’s busiest transportation lines, shortly before 11 p.m. local time (1400 GMT).

The lady was arrested, and the three injured men’s conditions were unclear, according to the spokeswoman.

According to the Kyodo news agency, none of the victims received life-threatening injuries.

NHK, Japan’s public television, first stated four people had been stabbed. The Yamanote loop route was momentarily halted owing to “train trouble,” according to East Japan Railway Company.

Akihabara, traditionally home to electronics and gadget merchants, is a prominent tourist attraction in Tokyo and has become synonymous with video games, comic books, and outrageous fashion.
