Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of sex trafficking and rape of singer Cassie. R&B vocalist Cassandra Ventura filed a lawsuit against rapper and hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on Thursday in federal court. In the case, she accuses Combs, whom she dated in the past and whose record label she signed with, of subjecting her to repeated acts of physical abuse, sexual servitude, and rape.

Combs is accused of forcing Ventura, who works under the stage name Cassie, to participate in sexual activities with a series of male prostitutes he hired. At the same time, he observed and videotaped the interactions for his enjoyment. This is one of the primary charges made against Combs by Ventura, who plays under the stage name Cassie.

Combs is accused of frequently hitting Ventura during a 10-year professional and emotional relationship during which he dominated her via intimidation and by plying her with drugs and alcohol, according to the lawsuit that was filed in the United States District Court in Manhattan. The case was filed on behalf of Ventura.

Combs is accused of raping Ventura, who is 37 years old after she brought up the possibility of ending their relationship in 2018. The alleged incident took place in 2018. Combs, whose monikers were previously known as Diddy, was portrayed in the complaint filed on Thursday as an unpredictable and dominating guy with aggressive inclinations against Ventura and others.

According to the allegations made in the complaint, he coerced Ventura into carrying his revolver for him in her handbag; on one occasion, he hung one of Ventura’s friends from the balcony of a high-rise hotel room; and he blew up a car that belonged to artist Kid Cudi after discovering that he was interested in Ventura.

Combs is the most recent high-profile figure in the recording industry to be accused of sexual misconduct in recent lawsuits. Other high-profile figures in the industry who have been accused of sexual misconduct include singer-songwriter Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, record producer L.A. Reid, and music executive Neil Portnow, who was formerly the chairman and CEO of the Recording Academy, which is the organization that hosts the Grammy Awards.
