The actors that suit up in all the comic book movies that have been released over the past decade have begun to understand the importance that they play off the screen for millions of children who look up to them
Several of the bigger named actors have taken it upon themselves to reach out to these children especially those who need a hero in the real world.
Recently Marvel film stars, Chris Evans and Chris Pratt suited up after their Super Bowl bet to visit the children of different hospitals. Evans dawned his Patriotic uniform when he dressed up as Captain America even though he won the bet against Pratt who not too long ago dressed up as Star Lord from the blockbuster hit of last summer, “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
Now Robert Downey Jr. stepped up the generosity when the film star delivered a bionic 3d printed arm to a child whose right arm did not develop fully.
The artificial limb was designed to look like Downey Jr’s “alter ego” Iron Man” and looks like it would be part of a suit that has been seen in the multiple Iron Man films and the Avengers.
Seven-year-old Alex received the arm out of the generosity of the actor, and through the kindness of Albert Manero, a student at the University of Central Florida, who developed the bionic arm. Manero has founded an organization entitled Limbitless.
It is moments like these that show the world that these actor are human, and they want to shine a light on those who matter most, the children. These kids look up to them, and they have done a fantastic job and living up to the roles of off screen superheroes.
