Remy Cointreau (RCOP.PA), a French spirits producer, said on Friday that it expects organic sales to remain steady during the 2023/24 fiscal year, despite a sluggish first half for cognac demand in the United States and a robust comeback in China.
The producer of Remy Martin cognac and Cointreau liquor reported sales growth beyond expectations and reiterated a prediction for significant organic growth in current operating profit for its 2022/2023 full fiscal year ending March 31.
With a substantial resurgence in business in China since February thanks to the easing of COVID limitations, group sales came in at €1.548 billion, an organic increase of 10.1% that slightly topped a company-compiled forecast of 9.9% growth.
