A transgender woman killed Wednesday, July 16, was confirmed to be NBA player Reggie Bullock’s sister. The Clippers’ shooting guard posted a few tweets to grieve his sibling.

The player is receiving a lot of support from friends and is recovering from the loss of family.

The Washington Post reported that the woman killed was identified as Mia Henderson, 16, who was born Kevin Long. She was found dead in an alley in Baltimore, Maryland, early morning. There was another murder case last month with a victim who was a transgender woman, and police are investigating if the two cases were connected.
