These days, there have been so many product recalls due to Salmonella and virus scares. Products like frozen chicken, cilantro imported from Mexico and even dog food have been recalled due to bacterial infections that the food may cause.

Kroger is one of the largest retail chain stores from Cincinnati based on revenue. Apparently, the store has recalled four different products because of probable Salmonella contamination. Oddly enough, the products that are recalled are not the frozen meat but the spices that the store sells.

The store has recalled their Bac’n Buds coarse ground black pepper, garlic powder and ground cinnamon. Kroger has not only recalled the products but also asked customers to immediately stop using the products if they have already purchased them before the recall.

Luckily no illness has been reported as of yet, but the product recall is nationwide and hence consumers should be cautious. The FDA tested a sample of the Kroger Garlic Powder and found the presence of Salmonella in it.

The store has advised the consumers to contact them immediately if they are affected by the infection and to not use any of the enlisted products.
