Amazon Celebrates Prime Day with Freebies

Amazon has become a very popular shopping website now. So much that the website is almost as popular as the Amazon rainforest itself.

And now to add to its existing popularity, the website has decided to have an annual “Prime day” in honor of its prime customers. Today, July 15, kicks off the first ever Prime Day. It is expected that this will be similar or crazier than Black-Friday itself.

An online version of Black-Friday will at least avoid the scary stampede in unaccommodating shops and malls.

In a recent statement, the company said,

“With more deals than Black Friday, members will enjoy thousands of deals from sought-after devices and tools to popular toys and pet supplies.”

Customers can expect great deals and generous discounts from the website. Prime Day is sure to leave the shopper profitable as compared to an online shopping spree on an ordinary day.

However, the day seems to have both ecstatic and disgruntle customers. According to twitter the “#PrimeDay” hashtag is surrounded by both happy and mean tweets.

Hopefully, Amazon will pay attention to customer feedback and make the Prime Day next year improved and hassle free.
